Burka Estate is one of Tanzania's oldest coffee estates, set on the fertile volcanic slopes of Mount Meru. More than 300 of its 500-plus hectares are planted with coffee, and most of it grows under shade, washed with water from natural springs. The estate also invests in its roughly 150 staff, supporting their health and safety and running community sports and recreation programs.
