Ethiopia - West Arsi Riripa (Espresso)
$24.00 AUD
This coffee is vibrant and refreshing, with crisp notes of kiwi and Fuji apple that bring a bright, juicy sweetness. A hint of lemon tart adds zesty acidity and a pastry-like finish. The overall profile is sweet, clean, and delightfully crispy, perfect for lovers of fruit-forward coffees with a lively edge.
The Riripa washing station, located in Rafisa Kebele, Nensebo, receives cherries from around 450 growers using donkeys and horses. The area's high altitude and climate are ideal for coffee. Cherries are fermented whole, then sun-dried on raised beds with regular turning. Once dried, they are hulled to reveal the green beans.
