Finca Himalaya sits at 1,500 m in El Salvador’s Apaneca mountains. This Pacamara lot, grown in rich volcanic soil and an ideal microclimate, reflects owner Mauricio A. Salaverria’s deep coffee expertise.

A sixth-generation producer, Mauricio farms the same land his family has cultivated since the mid-1800s, when his ancestors arrived from the Basque region of the Pyrenees.
